When you book an Individual Headshot session with RP Headshots, we start with a short questionnaire to understand who you are, who you serve, and how you want to show up online. Using that insight, we plan a session that reflects your personality, choosing lighting, backdrops, and tones that align with your brand. I’m Carlos Robledo, a Boston-based headshot photographer and founder of RP Headshots, where we specialize in enhancing brands for professionals, teams, and corporate events. My journey began in 2007 with landscapes, but I soon discovered my passion for portraiture and the connections it creates.
With a background in software sales and business development, I know how powerful first impressions are to establish new connections. Photography lets me combine that business insight with creativity—helping clients look confident, approachable, and professional. Whether you feel camera-shy or love being in front of the lens, I’ll guide you through a relaxed, collaborative session so you walk away with images you’re proud to share.
When I’m not photographing clients, I enjoy sailing, sporting clays, and the quiet art of stamp collecting.
Step Into a Relaxed, Professional Studio Experience
Located in the Cummings Center in Beverly, MA, RP Headshots is a Boston North Shore photography studio designed to make your headshots and branding portraits experience both professional and enjoyable. Conveniently situated 2 miles off Route 128 and less than a mile from the Beverly train station, with ample free parking, the studio is easy to reach for clients coming from the north and west of the city of Boston.
Inside, our spacious studio features multiple lighting setups, backgrounds, and professional equipment to create refined, high-quality portraits that help you look confident and approachable. We’ve also designed a comfortable client lounge where you can relax before or after your session—complete with a large-screen TV for viewing images, gourmet coffee, and a selection of beverages to help you unwind.
Every detail of our Boston North Shore studio was created with you in mind—to provide a relaxed, polished experience from start to finish and portraits that reflect your best professional image.

Upon your arrival, we’ll allow some time to understand how you feel about being in front of a camera and if you have preferences about how you would like to be photographed. Once we start the session, we’ll guide you through different poses and expressions to get a variety of looks you can choose from, and we’ll show you your images live so you get a feel for what we’re getting and provide instant feedback so we can make any necessary adjustments in posing or lighting. Once the shoot is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to select your favorite images for professional retouching, and they will be delivered to your own personal online gallery.

Of course! Our regular business hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am to 2:00pm, by appointment only. However, should you need to book an appointment outside of these times, please contact us in advance and we’ll gladly schedule a session that works for you.

We deliver the photo(s) you selected for digital retouching in a JPEG format in both low and high resolution to be used for web or standard print, to your own private online gallery where you can download them from. We also provide three different standard crop sizes (square, rectangular and portrait) free of charge. For an additional fee, we can generate copies of the same image in other sizes, crops, shapes, and even in black & white. Contact us for more information.

We use flattering studio lights so we can capture stunning headshots. Standard professional retouching includes adjustments for minor skin blemishes, removing stray hairs, softening wrinkles, whitening teeth and removing lint on clothing. Advanced retouching is available for an additional fee. Contact us for more information.

We partner with local hair and makeup artists in the North Shore that we can recommend. If you choose to have light hair and makeup done at our studio, you must schedule your Photo Session appointment one week in advance, so that we can allow extra time before your photo session. Please contact us for additional details.

Yes, we keep all your favorite photos in your individual gallery for up to 6 months after your photo was taken, and you can purchase additional images from your favorite collection during that time. After six months we delete all but your purchased images. We highly recommend purchasing all the images that you will need right after your photo session since it is the most cost-effective way to maximize our collection pricing.

Absolutely! While headshots are usually very specific head-and-shoulder portraits mostly used for social media profiles such as LinkedIn, websites, email signatures, etc., we also take half-body and full-body portraits more commonly used for branding and editorial applications such as marketing materials, dating profiles, book covers, and press kits. We love helping our clients make a great impression through powerful images that represent what they are about and help them connect with their audience in an authentic fashion.

Yes, we can! Our additional image collections include full resolution digital images and matted prints from desk-size photos and albums that you can share with family and friends, to framed wall art to decorate your home or business.
